Jingxi Shíbā Tán (Beijing West Eighteen Ponds)

Jingxi Shíbā Tán, located at the northern foot of the 1528-meter-high Qingshuijian Mountain Peak, is renowned for its deep valleys, peculiar rocks, unique waters, and diverse flora. Visitors can admire the majestic mountain peaks; layers of verdant cliffs; the deep and dangerous gorges; variously shaped strange peaks and perilous rocks; lush and thriving original vegetation; colorful and exotic flowers and plants, as well as seasonal wild fruits and vegetables. One can experience the pure and fresh air; the crisp and sweet mountain springs; the clear chirping of birds; the continuous sound of insects; the fragrant flowers; the leisurely play of fish; and the naturally perilous scenery. Opening hours are from March 11th to November 15th, 08:00-17:00.


Preferential policies include: Students of primary, middle, and high schools (excluding adult education) can purchase discounted tickets with their student IDs, and seniors over 60 years old can purchase discounted tickets with their Beijing Senior Citizen Cards at the scenic area.
