Jinhua Railway Culture Park is composed of the Jinhua Railway Culture Museum, eight historical preserved buildings, and a characteristic landscape park. It takes the historical evolution of the old train station as the cultural context, the landscape resources of the three rivers and six banks as the foundation, and the protection and utilization of historical buildings and relics as the focus. The park systematically preserves railway relics such as the old station building, tracks, and platforms, vividly presenting the history of the construction of the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway, the changes of the old train station, and the rise of the Erqi New Village.
The park primarily serves as a place for citizen leisure and cultural experience, aiming to create a railway-themed park with rich historical connotations, beautiful ecological environment, and comprehensive leisure service functions, and to become a golden tourism card for Jinhua culture and tourism. Future plans include continuously expanding the park’s influence to make Jinhua Railway Culture Park another new urban landmark of Jinhua.
