Jinji Ridge is located in Pingshi Town, known as the first town in Lingnan, under the jurisdiction of Lechang City, and is one of the famous mountains in Northern Guangdong. The ridge is named for its steep cliffs and the peculiar rock formations on the peak that resemble a rooster, as if crowing towards the north.
Jinji Ridge features treacherous terrain, with the prominent Yi Zi Peak acting as a natural barrier, appearing as a peak when viewed vertically and as a wall horizontally. It is also home to numerous historical relics, with cliff inscriptions scattered throughout. The ridge’s large rocks are arranged in a way that showcases its natural grandeur, especially during the cold winter season when the cliffs are covered in white snow, creating a breathtaking snowy landscape. Visitors who climb to the top can enjoy panoramic views of Hunan and Guangdong, with the entire town of Pingshi laid out before them. Opening hours are from 07:00 to 17:30 all year round. Preferential policies are as follows: 1. Free admission for children under 1.2 meters in height. 2.
