Jinjiang Museum is located at 382 Century Avenue in the urban area. The main building has four floors, and the front is adorned with a large-scale forged copper wall carving themed ‘Maritime Silk Road,’ which is truly spectacular. The museum covers an area of 17,000 square meters. Besides exhibition halls, artifact storage rooms, and offices, it also features an academic lecture hall, a cultural relics shop, and a parking lot.


It integrates functions such as collection, display, scientific research, education, and leisure, making it one of the largest county-level museums in the country.
Jinjiang Museum houses a collection of artifacts that ranks among the top in the province, with an exhibition area of 5,500 square meters. The main exhibition, ‘Jinjiang Historical Landscape,’ includes eight themes: ‘First County of Quannan,’ ‘Key Town of Coastal Defense,’ ‘Maritime Silk Road,’ ‘Wonderful Pottery,’ ‘Bridges Unparalleled in the World,’ ‘Religious Holy Land,’ ‘Confucianism by the Sea,’ and ‘Light of Overseas Chinese.


‘ These themes showcase the historical culture and social development of Jinjiang.
Jinjiang Museum also has two special exhibition halls that display various content-rich, educational, and innovatively formatted thematic exhibitions.
Opening hours are as follows: Closed all day on Mondays; from June 1st to September 30th, open from 09:00 to 17:30 on Tuesdays to Sundays; from October 1st to May 31st, open from 09:00 to 17:00 on Tuesdays to Sundays; on Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, open from 09:00 to 17:30; on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, and National Day, open from 09:00 to 17:00.
