Jinjlinghai in Jiuzhaigou is composed of Dajinlinghai and Xiaojinlinghai. Two lakes, one large and one small, are closely adjacent to each other and got the name because of their resemblance to bronze bells. Looking down at Jinlinghai, the lake water is indigo in color, standing out brightly as if “the blue is derived from the indigo plant”.
To visit Jinlinghai, you need to take the plank road from Wuhuahai, pass by Peacock River Channel and Jinlinghai, and then reach Pearl Beach. The whole plank road takes about 20 minutes.
