Jintai Temple is located in the Doumen District on the western side of Zhuhai City, approximately over forty kilometers away from the city center. It was founded by Song Dynasty loyalists who sought seclusion here following the fall of the Southern Song Dynasty. Today, Jintai Temple stands as an ancient monastery in the south, boasting a beautiful environment, crisp air, and excellent views from the hills. To visit Jintai Temple, one can take a bus to the base of the mountain and then walk about two kilometers along the mountain road to reach the temple. The journey is lined with lush greenery, fresh air, and often quiet, making it a very comfortable experience. Upon entering the temple, the atmosphere remains tranquil. The Buddhist ambiance here is traditional and pure, allowing visitors to light a stick of incense, stroll around, and enjoy the serenity of the mountains. The temple is open all year round from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
