Located within the Jiudao Mountain of the Jingkou Overseas Chinese Economic Zone in Sanshui District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, the Sanshui Jiudaogu Natural Ecological Tourism Area is renowned for its natural beauty and ecological charm. The Jingkou Overseas Chinese Economic Zone, known as ‘Scenic Landscape and Charming Overseas Chinese District’, is a gathering place for Vietnamese returnees, showcasing a rich Vietnamese cultural flavor. Situated at the northwest end of Foshan, it is also referred to as Foshan’s ‘Siberia’. Thanks to its remote location and sparse population, it has managed to preserve its excellent natural ecological environment.

Covering an area of approximately 3000 acres, the Jiudaogu Tourism Area is teeming with wild interest, dense jungles, and over 1000 species of wild plants. Among them, the wild ‘Hequehua’, which ‘creates a scene with a single vine’, is scattered along the streams, making it an ‘idyllic retreat’ sought after by modern urbanites. Such a uniquely advantageous natural environment has given birth to the Jiudaogu Tourism Area, a comprehensive primitive ecological resort integrating rafting, exploration, expansion, leisure, and entertainment. The Jiudaogu rafting course spans 3.8 kilometers with a total drop of 138 meters, featuring over 120 drops of various sizes, with the largest drop nearing 10 meters, and the entire course takes about 90 minutes to complete. Natural mountain springs from the Zeshan Mountains flow down through nine bends, passing through five gorges and thirty rapids, creating a surging and passionate experience, earning the title ‘Foshan’s First Brave Drift’ from tourism authorities.

It offers both the joy of water-based revelry and the thrill of exploration; the rustic flavor of barbecue picnics and the natural environment for relaxation. In addition to rafting, a variety of projects such as creek exploration, sightseeing waterfalls, and rock climbing will be developed successively, aiming to build a tourist area that integrates leisure, shopping, entertainment, sports, natural ecology, and Southeast Asian cultural characteristics. Enjoy the relaxed and fresh air of the natural oxygen bar; embrace the freedom and indulgence of the natural ecology; and experience the feeling of ‘leaving worldly affairs behind and returning to nature’. The Jiudaogu Scenic Area exudes a unique charm, calling out to distinctive visitors.
