Jiufeng Mountain Ruiyan Scenic Area is located in the southern mountainous area of Chaqiao Town, Beilun District, Ningbo City, known for its fresh air and serene environment. It was awarded the national 4A-level tourist attraction in 2010. The Ruiyan Scenic Area features attractions such as Ruiyan Temple Reservoir, Ruiyan Zen Temple, and the Top Ten Sights of Ruiyan.
Due to its relatively perfect natural environment, it is not only surrounded by mountains and waters with fresh air but also a paradise for flora and fauna, earning it the titles of ‘Famous Mountain of the East China Sea’, ‘Kingdom of Flora and Fauna’, and ‘Eastern Zhejiang’s Xishuangbanna’.
The scenic area is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 08:00 to 16:00, except in special circumstances such as typhoons and blizzards.
Preferential policies include: Children: Free for children aged 6 (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters (inclusive) in height; half-price for minors aged 6 (exclusive) to 18 (inclusive) with valid identification. Elderly: Free for elderly over 70 with a senior citizen card or ID card; half-price for elderly aged 60 to 70 with a senior citizen card or ID card. The above discounts also apply to compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Students: Half-price for full-time undergraduate students and below with a student ID. Disabled: Free for the disabled with a disability certificate. Military personnel: Free for active-duty soldiers with a soldier’s ID card.
