Jiufeng Mountain Scenic Area is located within Tangxi Town and is divided into two major scenic spots: Jiufeng Mountain and Peach Blossom Spring. Jiufeng Mountain, also known as Longqiu Mountain and Furong Mountain, features nine remarkable peaks such as Da Ma Peak and Furong Peak. The scenic area is characterized by Danxia landform, with its red mountains and green waters, and is known for its majestic and serene beauty.
It contains over 80 attractions, including a natural reclining Buddha, Jiufeng Temple, Damo Peak, Immortal Bridge, and ancient plank roads. Numerous relics such as temples, sites, tombs, and stone carvings can be found here, alongside a wealth of folklore. The scenic area was once part of the ancient Gu Mi Kingdom, where Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism coexist. Notable figures such as Longqiu Chu from the Western Han Dynasty, Xu Bo Zhen from the Southern Qi Dynasty, Xu An Zhen from the Tang Dynasty, and Guan Xiu from the Five Dynasties have left legendary footprints in Jiufeng Mountain.
