As a representative of northern hot springs, Jiuhua Hot Spring is located in Xiaotangshan, the hometown of hot springs in China. Xiaotangshan hot spring has long been known as ‘a basin of golden soup’. Empress Dowager Xiao of the Liao Dynasty once left her fragrance here. Since the Yuan Dynasty, it has been a forbidden place for emperors to travel. In 1997, Jiuhua Mountain Villa built a hot spring theme park covering nearly 100 mu next to the former site of Tangquan Palace.
It receives 400,000 tourists annually. It integrates hot springs, massage and sauna, characteristic delicacies, sports and entertainment. It is currently a one-stop hot spring vacation experience park in China. Jiuhua hot spring has a heritage of thousands of years and natural hot spring water. In 2012, Jiuhua Hot Spring was officially certified as a ‘geothermal hot spring’ enterprise by the National Geothermal Association for the first batch. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 21:30. Preferential policies for children: Children under 1.4 meters (excluding) in height.
