Jiulong Gorge is home to nine magnificent waterfalls, each named after one of the nine dragon sons, as it is said to be the place where they frolicked with their consorts. The waterfalls are named Qiu Niu Waterfall, Xiao Huang果树 Waterfall, Suan Ni Waterfall, Bi An Waterfall, Pu Lao Waterfall, Ya Zhi Waterfall, Gong Fu Waterfall, Fu Xi Waterfall, and Chi Wen Waterfall. Additionally, there is a Dragon Girl Pond beside the Bi An Waterfall.

Jiulong Gorge is also renowned for its ‘White Tea King,’ a unique white tea plant that grows atop the gorge. Legend has it that the White Lady, while trying to save her husband’s life by stealing a magical herb from the southern mountain, accidentally dropped it into the white tea valley, where it took root and became the ‘White Tea King.’ The tea produced by the ‘White Tea King’ is of high quality and has won numerous awards for famous teas.

In winter, Jiulong Gorge offers a unique travel opportunity with rare natural ice formations, including ice waterfalls, icebergs, and glaciers, providing an excellent environment for ice sculpture winter tours. The artificial ice sculptures, such as the giant dragon, ice dragon pillars, and ice mountains, add to the beauty of the snowy landscape, making it feel like a northern snowy kingdom.
