Jiulongyuan Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Jiulong Lake Tourism Resort, on the south side of Dapeng Mountain in Xiangshan, and is one of the sources of Jiulong Lake. The first phase of the scenic area covers an area of 1 square kilometer, featuring more than ten attractions such as ‘one trace, two pools, three stones, and four waterfalls,’ and is composed of three sections: Jiulongyuan, Changshou Village, and Peacock Lake. Within the area, there are steep rocks, peculiar stones, bamboo forests, ancient trees, cascading waterfalls, pools, and Buddhist traces. The lush bamboo and dense vegetation create a rich biodiversity, making it a paradise on earth, a haven for the soul, and it is known as Ningbo’s ‘Shangri-La.’ The scenic area is open all year round from 08:00 to 16:30.
