The Jiunüfeng Immersive Scenic Area is located in the Jiunüfeng Rural Revitalization Demonstration Area, Daolang Town, Daiyue District, Tai’an City. The project is built along the mountain and stands by the water. According to the standards of a national AAAA-level tourist scenic area, it adheres to the concept of creating a new generation of cultural and tourism products with virtual and real symbiosis and immersive experience as the main focus.

Through high-tech and digital empowerment, every step presents a scene and every step is like a poem. It strives to create a brand-new scenic area integrating immersive performances, ecological landscapes, and high-quality facilities. Centering around the two scenes of ‘cloud’ and’moon’, two spiritual and cultural buildings, the Cloud Study of Hometown and the Moon of Hometown, have been constructed.

In addition, high-end luxury wildness resort hotels, immersive performances, restaurants, cafes, grand canyons, camping grounds, etc. have been built as supporting facilities. The profound emotional value of ‘nostalgia’ is transformed into high-quality tourism products, creating an operational scene that is visible, visitable, and livable, realizing emotional resonance and interaction with tourists and villagers, and forming a one-stop rural micro-vacation destination.

The scenic area includes projects such as the high-end luxury wildness resort hotel Cloud of Hometown, the Jiunüfeng Study, the Fengyue Boundless Camping and Leisure Area, the ‘Moon of Hometown’ art space and immersive performances, the Starry Sky Post Office, and the grand canyon. 1. High-end luxury wildness resort hotel Cloud of Hometown This project utilizes 21 sets of idle and abandoned courtyards of villagers and hires a famous domestic design team for design.

With a light touch, it conveys a meaningful experience. It is set off by the mountains and forests in the environment and blends with the wild nature, endowing the living space with poetic aesthetics that integrates with nature. At the same time, it is also equipped with supporting facilities such as the Jiunüfeng Study, cafes, restaurants, conference rooms, soaking pools, and gyms. The high-end luxury wildness resort hotel Cloud of Hometown has currently become an important window to showcase the charm of rural homestays in Shandong.

It has won multiple honorary titles such as the ‘Third IAI International Tourism Award’ and ‘Top 50 Most Influential Beautiful Homestays in China’. The Jiunüfeng Study has also been selected as the most beautiful bookstore of the year in Shandong Province. 2. Jiunüfeng Study Located at the highest point of the scenic area, the Jiunüfeng Study became a national internet-famous study within just two months after its completion.

The unique architectural circulation echoes the undulating and silent mountains and the gurgling springs. It is like a cloud stretching endlessly, with a kind of static fluidity. Compared with the majestic grandeur of Mount Tai, Dongximen Village is simple and restrained. The designer hopes to build ‘a floating cloud suspended in the mountains’ here to respond to the magnificent sea of clouds of Mount Tai.

3. Fengyue Boundless Camping and Leisure Area Named after the perfect combination of maple trees and the moon, it implies beautiful scenery and a beautiful life. In terms of scenery, it highlights the blending of landscapes and humanities, the reflection of ancient charm and modern style. There are small bridges and flowing water, lake and moonlight. It is equipped with rich experiences such as sky curtain campsites, stove-boiling tea, stage performances, and fog forest installations.

This place boasts a relaxed and romantic atmosphere with a variety of functional spaces, presenting different businesses such as tent camps, band performances, costume photo spots, cultural and creative markets, and pet feeding.

Four, the ‘Hometown Moon’ Art Space, is composed of three main parts: the moon, the cavity, and the gray space, located to the east of ‘Hometown Cloud’ and at the entrance of the Grand Canyon. The entire structure is hidden beneath the road, with the main body of the building ingeniously combined with the cliffs on both sides, only the hemispherical skylight of the roof protruding above the road. Through the reflection of the water on the roof, the skylight is mirrored into a full moon.

After precise angle calculations by the designer, only from the terrace of the ‘Hometown Cloud’ study room can one fully see this full moon. The perspective of appreciating the full moon symbolizes the unique attachment of wanderers from all directions to their hometown, forming a beautiful picture accompanied by clouds and the moon.

It is a comprehensive performance that combines digital interpretation, stage lighting, and dramatic performance.

This new digital interpretation show, inspired by the moon and connected by emotion, links the universal emotions and nostalgia of all mankind, displaying a picturesque Eastern aesthetics, allowing the audience to immerse and feel. The performance is divided into four content chapters: ‘Moonlight’, ‘Moon Color’, ‘Moon Thoughts’, and ‘Moon Hope’, spanning from ancient times to the present, from Chang’e, Li Bai to astronauts, showing the multiple charms of the moon through different interpretations of the moon.

Six, the Grand Canyon, formed in the ancient times, has a history of hundreds of millions of years, resembling a dragon, running north to south, about 1314 meters long, and about 160 meters deep. Composed of ‘Yulong Bay’, ‘Chenglong Cave’, and ‘Tenglong Valley’, forming the ‘Divine Dragon Trilogy’, representing the three stages of the divine dragon’s nurturing, trials, and blessings. The canyon’s sides are steep and rugged, with layers of ridges, strange rocks everywhere, and many pools and waterfalls. Every view is a scene, and the scenery changes with every step, making it a great place for leisure, vacation, hiking, and entertainment.

Seven, the Starry Sky Post Office, located between ‘Clouds and Moon’ in the scenic area, is like a star, hence its name. The post office has a Starry Sky Cafe, a check-in area for letters from hometown, and a sky tent camping area, surrounded by a natural and simple rural garden-style layout.
