Jiuzhaigou Tibetan Mystery Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Jiuzhaigou Rongzhong Erjia Cultural Communication Co., Ltd.) has invested nearly 100 million yuan to build the Jiuzhaigou Tibetan Mystery Grand Theater, which can accommodate a scale of 2035 people. The core performance, ‘Tibetan Mystery,’ is a large-scale Tibetan original ecological song and dance program. The program is produced by Rongzhong Erjia, with the famous dance artist Yang Liping serving as the chief director and artistic director. The song and dance authentically express the Tibetan cultural colors and is the first situational display of Tibetan culture in the form of song, dance, and poetry in China.
The large-scale Tibetan original ecological song and dance ‘Tibetan Mystery’ covers different styles from various Tibetan regions in China, presenting a rich and colorful pure Tibetan song and dance. It is divided into four parts: the first part displays mystery and charm; the second part, labor, depicts romance and diversity; the third part, competition, is full of imagination and joy; the fourth part, reincarnation, involves stage performance elements derived from the collection and organization of Tibetan original music, dance, instrumental music, clothing, and props. The program is rich and dazzling, shocking and moving. The rhythm is sometimes high and strong, sometimes lingering and touching, and the scene is grand and spectacular. Through song, dance, and music, it depicts a mysterious and vast, ancient and brilliant Tibetan style painting, including religious music, costume performance, Thangka art, and Tibetan singing styles. It includes plucked string, rap, Layi, pastoral songs, tap dance, string dance, yak dance, and Guozhuang dance, accompanied by horse head fiddle, mandolin, stringed hu, Dama drum, horn, drum, flute, and eagle flute. It can be said that ‘Tibetan Mystery’ is a work that concentrates on Tibetan songs, dances, and musical instruments, and is a key to unlocking the secrets of Tibetan culture. ‘Tibetan Mystery’ was rated as one of the ‘Top Nine Chinese Cultural Tourism Quality Programs’ by the Ministry of Culture’s ‘China Culture Daily’ Brand Comment Center in 2007, ranking seventh in the country. It was selected as a ‘National Cultural Tourism Key Project Catalog – Tourism Performance’ project in 2010 and was awarded the ‘Five-One Project Award’ in 2010. In 2011, it was rated as one of the ‘Top Ten Chinese Cultural and Creative Tourism Performance Projects’ by the China Tourism Culture Association.
