Jizhou Karst Cave

Jizhou Karst Cave is located at the foot of Lingqi Mountain in Hongshuizhuang Village, Luozhuangzi Town, Jixian County, Tianjin City. It is 12 kilometers away from Jixian County. As Jixian was once named Jizhou, it is named Jizhou Karst Cave. The characteristics of Jizhou Karst Cave can be summarized in four words: new, strange, unique and special. Jizhou Karst Cave developed in the dolomite stratum of Hongshuizhuang Formation of Changcheng System in Middle and Upper Proterozoic.


It is about 1.2 billion years ago. According to the survey and calculation by the national geological department, the developable space can reach one million square meters. With such a large area, it ranks first in North China. The first phase of Jizhou Karst Cave is developed about 30,000 square meters, and the total length of the cave is 1,200 meters.



Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 17:30 from January 1st to December 31st.

Children: Free for those under 1.2 meters in height.


Students: Half price for those over 1.2 meters in height with student ID.


The elderly: Free for those over 70 years old with senior citizen card or ID card; half price for those aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive) with senior citizen card or ID card.

Soldiers: Free for active servicemen with valid certificates.
