Situated on the east bank of the Xiuyuan River, the Overseas Chinese Town Joyful Gathering is dedicated to creating an immersive cultural complex that stands on the foundation of traditional Chinese culture and brings together cultural and museum resources – the offline experience hall of ‘National Treasure’.
The first floor of the experience hall takes the exploration and display of ‘Eastern Wisdom and Aesthetics’ as its core creative concept, using the oxygen-rich culture of over 50 national treasures to narrate the traditional life wisdom of the Chinese people that has been passed down for thousands of years. It employs technology and art to reinterpret the fusion of classical and modern Eastern aesthetics. The overall space is created by the interweaving and overlapping of several national treasure boxes, with the tour’s inspiration drawn from the spatial characteristics of classical gardens. It also utilizes ‘media architecture’ elements such as perspective windows and corridors to construct more interesting viewing angles. ‘National Treasure: Eastern Wisdom and Beauty’ Immersive Exhibition turns participants into a cultural museum that feels like an amusement park, leading the audience to unlock the genetic codes flowing in the blood of the nation, traversing time and space to open the dusty knowledge and cultural treasure trove. It realizes the cultural demand of national treasure aesthetic education through edutainment, allowing visitors to fully experience the charm of Chinese culture. The ‘Time Theater’ on the second floor of the experience hall is a multifunctional composite space, composed of a national treasure-themed interactive mystery drama and an aesthetic education parent-child camp. Rooted in traditional Chinese culture, it pioneers a children’s national treasure story system called ‘National Treasure Mobilization’. It creates the ‘Treasure Boy’ IP through innovative mystery drama forms, links with parent-child aesthetic education activities, and forms a comprehensive parent-child experience field, creating an intellectual and interesting paradise for children in Chinese culture. ‘National Treasure’ integrates various forms of experience such as exhibitions, performances, and interactive entertainment, gathering multiple business formats such as aesthetic education, cultural and creative retail, and entertainment consumption. It aims to achieve experiential consumer innovation through immersive digital interactive entertainment, to educate people with beauty and culture, and to set a benchmark for new urban cultural and tourism products in Overseas Chinese Town.
