Ju Shi Mountain, also known as Xiao Long Mountain, is situated over 20 kilometers north of Anqing City. The highest peak, Long Tou Peak, ascends to an altitude of 515 meters. This mountain is renowned for its peculiarly shaped giant rocks and features a steep cliff with a high-altitude glass observation deck—the 520 Glass Observation Deck.
At the base of the mountain, a leisure and expansion base awaits visitors, offering both the opportunity to climb and explore the strange rocks, as well as to engage in various outdoor entertainment activities.
The scenic area is designed with three distinct loops: one loop circles below the mountain’s waist, while the other two loops extend from the waist to the summit. The Long Wo Service Center, located near the Welcoming Pine, serves as the nexus for both the lower and upper mountain loops. Throughout the scenic area, clear signs guide visitors with directional indications.
Upon entering the scenic area’s gate, the leisure expansion base is situated to the right, offering activities such as real CS, ski fields, rock climbing, and barbecue, with additional fees applicable for each. Alternatively, one can embark on the mountain path to Long Wo on the left, or opt for the cable car service, which charges 50 yuan for an uphill ride, 40 yuan for a downhill ride, and 80 yuan for a round trip.
At Long Wo, the main tour of the scenic area commences. Following the vibrant steps, visitors can directly access the 520 Glass Observation Deck. A three-dimensional ‘love’ sculpture greets visitors at the entrance, with the deck’s entrance located to the right.The 520-meter-long, 520-square-meter, and 520-degree high platform integrates a glass corridor, glass plank road, and glass observation deck into a heart-shaped platform. If you do not wish to go to the highest peak, take the small loop, which takes about 1 hour; if you do, take the large loop, which takes about 3 hours. It is recommended to take the large loop because the most fun and beautiful scenery is at the summit and on the way to the summit.
Taking the left path to the summit, after passing the Blue Lotus Pond, one arrives at the fun place—Long Gong (Thousand Bend Cave), which is more than 1 kilometer long. Natural giant rock collapses have formed a long cave, and one can enjoy cave exploration. After exiting the cave and reaching the summit of Long Tou Peak, the huge rocks seen on the mountain road are now under one’s feet, and the distant view is of vast lakes with boundless scenery. Then, choose the other side of the loop to descend to Long Wo, avoiding the return path. After reaching Long Wo, take the path not taken before, which is the Yixiu Valley direction to descend the mountain; of course, one can also take the cable car down the mountain. Near the upper station of the cable car, there is a performance at the Yan Fengying Stage, and the specific performance times can be inquired by phone from the scenic area.
