Jueci Temple is located in the secluded valley on the right side of Shangjiang’ao Village. It is a famous temple in Taizhou. The main hall of Sakyamuni sits among Phoenix Mountain, Tiger Head Mountain and Wooden Fish Mountain. At the top of the mountain behind the temple, the pagoda stands in the air. On the left and right, tall bamboos stand by the houses. Mountain springs flow through the hall. Flowers are in full bloom and fill the garden with fragrance. Around the temple, there are green pines and cypresses. Jueci Temple is hidden among the thick shade of green bamboos. It is called a beautiful place with ‘the same color of mountains and waters and the wind and moon on the horizon’.
