Kai Tak Runway Park focuses on aviation and environmental protection as its main themes. The park primarily features car-free environmental pedestrian paths, leisure trails, and continuous lawn areas.
Phase one of Kai Tak Runway Park includes a waterfront promenade, green viewing areas, environmental pedestrian paths, leisure trails, and meteorological station beautification projects, as well as restrooms and ancillary facilities. A distinctive feature is the rest seats designed in the shape of the Arabic numeral 13, in commemoration of the former Runway 13’s fame. Additionally, some remaining items from the runway are preserved, including runway markings. The park is open year-round from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.Kai Tak Runway Park
