“The newly evolved ‘kanekoayano’ retains the charm of Kaneko’s voice, further strengthening the psychedelic rock characteristics, and developing towards a harder direction, presenting a completely new band image!” ——SENSA SoundFact is honored to announce that in December this year, we will invite the kanekoayano band, led by Japanese creative singer Kaneko Ayano, to China for a four-city tour in the winter, which seems to be the most suitable season for their warm music style. This is Kaneko Ayano’s first time in Mainland China and will also be the last band tour presented by SoundFact in 2024. Kaneko Ayano (Kaneko Ayano) was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan in 1993. Since 2014, she has released several albums, alternating between band and solo status, becoming a unique presence in the Japanese music scene. Their domestic and UK tour tickets have all been sold out, and they have successively performed at music festivals such as Japan’s Fuji Rock, Moritamashi, UK’s The Great Escape, and South Korea’s Aisan Pop Festival. In Kaneko Ayano’s discography, ‘Shukusai’ and ‘Cancan’ were selected for the CD store award, elected by CD store clerks across Japan, with ‘Cancan’ also winning the ‘Blue’ award (Best Newcomer) at the 12th ceremony; ‘Yosuga’ was created during the pandemic, different from the cheerful melodies of the previous two albums, with a sad undertone and the most sincere language, sharing her innermost private emotions with fans; the 2023 album ‘Towelket is Gentle’ was widely praised, presenting a more impactful voice and melody than ever before, and the image of a rock band has begun to emerge. On August 3, 2024, during the Tokyo Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall performance, Kaneko Ayano officially announced the formation of the band kanekoayano, including guitarist Hayashi Hiroto, bassist Iizuka Takano, and drummer Sakano Hikaru (* Sakano Hikaru is temporarily resting for personal reasons, and this tour will be replaced by a supporting drummer). The new lineup of kanekoayano has a completely different live atmosphere from before, with four people showing an unprecedented strong cohesion and releasing a more turbulent and powerful energy than ever before.Not only has there been a brand-new adaptation and interpretation of previous works, but the color of psychedelic rock has even been intensified. It can be said that Kaneko Ayano is leading the band to move forward rapidly in a new direction.
