Kang Zhenjun Temple/Wangxia Neighborhood Mutual Aid Association

The Kang Zhenjun Temple in Wangxia is located on the side of the Puji Zen Monastery on Avenida do Coronel Mesquita. The existing building was rebuilt in the first year of Guangxu in the late Qing Dynasty. The couplet on the gate is: ‘The Dao and its fruits are respected in the celestial palace, and the mighty power guards the seaside.’ The existing Kang Zhenjun Temple has two halls, one dedicated to Lord Kang and the other to the Empress of Heaven. There is an ancient stele from the Guangxu period in the temple, ‘The Stele Log of the Tasting of Kang Zhenjun Temple,’ which describes the temple property owned by this temple.
