The Kangxi Grassland and the Jingxi Grassland are actually one entity. It unfolds along the Guanting Reservoir. In fact, it is the grassy beach formed by the flooded area of the Guanting Reservoir and is also a relatively large grassland in the suburbs of Beijing. It leans against the Haituo Mountain in the north and borders the Guanting Lake in the west. Surrounded by mountains and waters, it is vast and expansive, with diverse landscapes such as mountains, waters, forests, and grasses.

The entire grassland covers an area of more than 90,000 mu. The terrain is flat and the grassland is vast. The animal and plant resources are extremely rich. Every late spring and midsummer, the grass is lush and the scenery is pleasant. The grassland is long and narrow from north to south along the lakeshore. The northern suburb is a fishing area. The northwest is a bonfire area. Going south, there is a camel racing field.

Further south is the yurt area and tent area. There are very rich activities here: Tourists can ride horses and brandish whips to feel the boldness of nomadic people; they can row boats and sway among the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains; they can fish and also play in the water. Summer nights are a good opportunity to hold bonfire parties.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 8:00 to 17:00.
