Kanmen Housha is a beach located in the urban center of Taizhou area, backed by mountains and facing the sea. The reef landscapes on both sides are unique, and the island features are distinctive. It is a provincial windsurfing training base. The beach has a gentle slope and fine sand quality. Every summer, people of all ages come in an endless stream to swim at the beach. At night, the beach is even more lively. Seafood food stalls and open-air tea seats attract a large number of tourists to come for cooling and leisure. According to the requirements of the ‘China Leisure Fishing Capital’ project, Housha will jointly develop and build the Housha tourist area and European and American sightseeing fishing villages with the lighthouse area. It will be completed into five parts: a maritime entertainment area, a world fishing culture exhibition center, a European and American fishing village town, a seaside leisure street, and landscape real estate and resort hotels, and this will drive the old city renovation project of Housha.
