The Hakka Town Scenic Area is located within the Hakka World Tourism Resort, a national AAAA-level scenic spot in Meizhou. It is a distinctive town that blends natural scenery with cultural charm, presenting a vivid tapestry of Hakka customs to the world. The area showcases a rich array of elements, including Hakka culture, architecture, cuisine, tourism, residence, leisure, health preservation, and folk performances. The scenic area is dedicated to becoming a global exchange and dissemination base for ‘Hakka culture’, a health culture experience and practice base, and an inheritance and display base for intangible cultural heritage. It offers visitors a deep experience of Hakka customs and traditions.
Currently, the scenic area has opened various distinctive landscapes and attractions such as ‘Tianci Pavilion’, ‘Sage Valley’, ‘Sage Stockade’, ‘Memory Square’, ‘Middle Street of the Town’, and ‘East Street of the Town’. It also features entertainment projects like the ‘Jungle Coaster’ and the ‘Yunque Glass Bridge’, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and cultural landscapes. In addition, the three major restaurants within the scenic area – ‘Hakka World Flavor Restaurant’, ‘Famous Chef’s Restaurant’, and ‘Cloud Roll Cloud Book Café’ – provide a variety of delicacies.
During the visit, tourists can also appreciate a variety of performance shows, including large immersive live performances, classic opera singing, wonderful musical instrument performances, and unique stunt art performances, to experience the unique charm of Hakka culture. The scenic area is open all year round from 09:00 to 22:00, with night tour times from 18:00 to 21:30. The entry/ticket exchange time is from 17:00 to 21:30 (ticket exchange ends at 21:00). The ‘National Tide Night City’ lighting time is from 18:00 to 21:30.
Preferential Policies: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) can enter the park with an adult for free; children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (not including) can purchase discounted tickets.
