Kongtong Rock Scenic Area

Kongtong Rock is located 3 kilometers west of Yangchun City. The temple was originally built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and was renovated during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty by Yangchun County Magistrate Jiang Shan. It is one of the national ‘Four Kongtong Mountains’. The cave is divided into five levels, featuring various landscapes such as Lion Rock, Waterfall Rock, Cold West Pillar, and Monk Worshipping Guanyin, all formed by stalactites, presenting a myriad of shapes and forms.
Within the Kongtong Rock, there is a temple, and outside the temple, there are peaks. Both natural scenery and cultural landscapes are present, characterized by their ancient elegance and tranquility. It is a protected cultural heritage site in Guangdong Province, with a visitable area of over 30,000 square meters.
