Kui Xing Park is located in the heart of the urban area of Zhaoyuan, and was originally established in 1982. The park is divided into four main scenic areas: First is the Cultural Scenic Area, which mainly reflects the historical celebrities and poetic masterpieces of Zhaoyuan through shallow reliefs; Second is the Ancient Scenic Area, highlighting the beautiful natural environment of ancient Zhaoyuan; Third is the Recreational Scenic Area, which meets the needs of people of different levels, personalities, and ages for leisure and entertainment with features such as ‘one mountain, one water, one top scholar, seven ancient-style buildings, eight major scenic spots, and a circular park path’; Fourth is the Greenery Scenic Area, with green plants arranged in four levels: ‘spring, summer, autumn, and winter’, reflecting the natural scenery of ‘flowers in spring, rain in summer, fruits in autumn, and greenery in winter’. During the day, the park features artificial mountains, waterfalls, babbling brooks, rippling lake water, shady green trees, flowers everywhere, and exquisite rocks that add character to the landscape, as well as simple and elegant architecture, making it a delightful place for citizens to linger. At night, the landscape lights and neon lights shine brightly, and the garden’s scenery becomes more charming under the light and with the accompaniment of music, making it an ideal place for people to relax.
