Kuizhou has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, initially as the Kingdom of Kui, a primary settlement for the Ba people. Before the fall of the Ba state, survivors of the entire Ba tribe retreated to this area, fought a desperate battle against the water, and all perished heroically. To this day, many moving stories about the Ba people are still circulated among the local populace. During the Warring States period, this area was under the jurisdiction of the Chu state, and it was renamed Yu Fu County during the Qin and Han dynasties. The name ‘Yu Fu County’ is associated with a tragic and touching legend. The opening hours and business status are subject to the actual conditions on the day.
