Labor Park is a large urban park located in the heart of Dalian City. The park boasts a rich variety of flowers and becomes a prime location for flower appreciation and photography during the annual spring flower exhibition.
The park also features numerous recreational facilities, including an art museum shaped like a football, which is celebrated as a symbol of Dalian. It serves as a leisure spot for local residents with its beautiful environment, lush vegetation, and spacious lawns.
It offers a variety of entertainment options such as canyon rafting, roller coasters, jungle mice, and space shuttles. In addition, the park is equipped with squares, landscape lakes, and tennis courts. The football square in the southern part of the park is home to a massive red and white football-shaped art museum, symbolizing Dalian’s football culture and serving as the park’s iconic structure.
Typically, from April to May each year, the park hosts a large-scale flower exhibition where peonies, roses, magnolias, cherry blossoms, begonias, and lilacs compete for attention, creating a vibrant and colorful scene. Special cultural performances, folk shows, calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and gourmet food tastings are also held during this time.
The park is open all year round, with full-day access.
