Lantian Yao Ethnic Scenic Garden is located 15 kilometers north of Longmen County in Huizhou City, in the Lantian Township, a Yao ethnic settlement close to the Pearl River Delta. Known as ‘Millennium Fire Dog, Colorful Yao Mountain’, it boasts a world-unique Yao maiden’s coming-of-age ceremony and a quasi-national intangible cultural heritage – the grand performance of ‘Dance of Fire Dog’. The Shima Mountain (also known as Yao Mountain) within the garden is a must-visit place for literati, photographers, and dignitaries. It majestically rises in the center of the ‘Treasure Basin’, resembling a large ingot, creating a momentum of ‘wealth from all directions, step by step promotion’.
