Lao Longwan Park is located ten kilometers northeast of Pingdu City, at the wrist of the left claw arm of Mount Da Ze. It is a comprehensive scenic area rich in historical sites, cultural heritage, unique natural landscapes, and beautiful forest valleys. It integrates a variety of attractions such as the Zhuangyuan Stone, Stone Old Lady, Da Ao Mountain, Xiao Ao Mountain, Fairy Spring, Lao Longwan, Yuan Bao Stone, Dragon King Temple, Wang Mang Terrace, Teacher’s Land, Ba Wenzhang, Xiao Shi Men, Da Shi Men, and the Zoo.
In the spring of March, apricot flowers fade around the mountains, followed by peach blossoms; cherry blossoms just fall, and apple flowers bloom again, turning the entire mountain range into a sea of flowers. Being in such an environment is overwhelming with fragrances, refreshing the senses; gentle breezes bring falling petals, creating a beautiful scene of petals and flowers in the wind, a sight too beautiful to behold. Especially during the transition from summer to autumn, the entire mountain range is shrouded in mist, creating a profound and mysterious atmosphere. The sound of bells on ancient paths echoes, fish leap and compete in the water, pine waves rustle on the mountaintop, and the fragrance of ripe fruits from the mountainside fills the air. This scene is like a fairyland, akin to the ‘picture of a green mountain standing in a series’ depicted by ancient poets, truly indescribable. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.Lao Longwan Park
