The Lao She Memorial Hall is located in Jinan City, which was the place where Lao She lived during his teaching tenure in Jinan. The original building was a thatched house made of bricks and earth blocks, with the main rooms situated on the west, north, and east sides inside the second gate, where Lao She resided in the northern room. It was here that Lao She composed numerous long and short stories, as well as essays and humorous poems.
