Laodong Square (formerly known as Shuiqinggou Park) boasts an exceptional environment. The park features a variety of primary tree species, including cedar, black pine, dawn redwood, sycamore, cherry blossom, peach, rose, and orchid. It is covered with 10,000 square meters of evergreen lawn.
A prominent feature within the park is the Mother and Daughter Sculpture, located in the central area and constructed in 1983. Made of white granite, the sculpture depicts a mother and daughter sitting hand in hand on a granite base.
The park also houses a long corridor situated in the northwestern part, with columns and beams made of reinforced concrete, connected by benches in between, and surrounded by plants such as wisteria. Additionally, there are children’s play areas within the park.
The park is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
