Laohutan Ocean Park is located on the southern coast of Dalian, nestled between mountains and the sea, a world for marine animals and birds, as well as a scenic spot for coastal beauty. You can watch performances featuring beluga whales, sea lions, and dolphins, and in the Joy Theater, adorable sea lions and walruses await you to interpret their body language. If that is not enough, you can visit the Marine Mammal Pavilion to learn about the lives of fur seals and seals, observe the adorable penguins, and admire the colorful underwater world at the Coral Pavilion. You can also take the cross-sea aerial tramway that offers panoramic views of the southern Dalian coast, leading to the ‘Birds’ Forest’, where you can experience the world of birds living with peacocks, red-crowned cranes, egrets, and dozens of other species. Additionally, the park features marine sightseeing yachts, root carving art galleries, and 4D cinemas, as well as thrilling attractions such as Jurassic Rapids Adventure, pirate ships, bungee jumping, and rapid descent for you to try. When tired, you can stroll on the small beach and enjoy the sea view. The park is open year-round from 08:00 to 17:00.
