Leizhou Maud Gong Drum City Resort

Leizhou Maud Gong Drum City Resort is located at No. 8 Wenhua Road, Leizhou City, Zhanjiang, Guangdong. It is one of the earlier one-stop vacation destinations in China with a ‘drum’ cultural theme, originating from the ‘Leizhou Drum Change’, which is the foremost among the four marvels of the world. The resort includes Maud Gong Drum City, Zhangshuwan Hotel, Leiyang Lake, and other supporting facilities.

It integrates scenic spots, homestays, hotels, and travel agencies, fully meeting the six elements of ‘food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping’ required for travel and vacation. It is currently the earliest and only National 4A-level tourist attraction in Leizhou. Maud Gong Drum City features a Qing stone, red brick, and red tile architectural style of the Lei school, drawing on the characteristics of Lingnan and ancient buildings in the Leizhou area from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The drum city covers an area of 62 acres, with a construction area of 63,000 square meters and a total investment of over 300 million yuan. It was opened on August 23, 2015, and is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
