The Lengquan Pavilion is located at the western foot of Feilai Peak outside Lingyin Temple. The major feature of the Lengquan Pavilion is that the top is built in a double-eaved style. Its couplets are also very interesting. On one side is ‘Since when did the spring become cold? From where did the peak fly?’; on the other side is ‘The spring becomes cold when it is cold. The peak flies from where it flies.’, as if asking and answering oneself, yet revealing a sense of Zen. Open all year round and all day.
