Li Jia Keng Village is located in Zhangshui Town, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, and it preserves a large number of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Originally named Xu Jia Chang Village, the village’s progenitor, Li Gongjian, migrated from Yongkang Changtian during the early Qing Dynasty and settled here. He was captivated by the beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and water, and thus began to cultivate the land, build homes, and establish a clan. The village has a history of more than 360 years. It is open to the public all year round, with full-day accessibility.
