The Li Yuan Photography Art Museum is situated in one of the ‘Five Scattered Houses’ adjacent to the North Gate of Yinzhou Park in Ningbo City. Spanning an area of over a thousand square meters, the museum encompasses five distinct facilities: an exhibition hall, a multimedia screening room, a collection room for works, a library display room, and Li Yuan’s photography studio.
Architecturally, the museum is a prime example of the ‘New Ruralism’ style, designed by the renowned Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning architect, Wang Shu.
