Liangfu Mountain, also known as Yingfo Mountain and Yingfu Mountain, is located on the southern slopes of the Cular Mountains in Tai’an City. With an elevation of 288 meters, Liangfu Mountain features steep and rugged terrain.
At the summit of the mountain, there is a large stone with inscriptions from the Northern Qi period, resembling a seated Buddha, hence the name ‘Yingfo Mountain’. According to historical records, from ancient times through the Qin and Han dynasties, emperors and monarchs would perform the Fengshan ceremony at Mount Tai and then offer sacrifices at Liangfu Mountain, earning it the title of ‘Earth Deity’. Therefore, Liangfu Mountain holds a significant place in the history of ancient Chinese civilization.
