Lianhu Park, drawing on the essence of classical gardens from Suzhou and Hangzhou, is imbued with antique charm. It is primarily composed of a classical archway, over 600 steps for mountain climbing, a mid-hill pavilion, winding mountain paths, a calligraphy and painting corridor, and a seven-story observation tower. The names ‘Lianhu Park’ and ‘Pine Mountain Tower’ were inscribed by the calligrapher and painter Guan Shanyue. The reliefs on both sides of the archway depict lifelike white marble ‘Eight Steeds’ and ‘Nine Dragons’.
The calligraphy and painting corridor, built along the ridge of the mountain, showcases diverse paintings of flora and fauna, landscape, customs, and ancient figures, along with vigorous Tang Dynasty calligraphy. The entire corridor is steeped in a rich cultural atmosphere.
At the summit of Pine Mountain, which is 60 meters above sea level, the Pine Mountain Tower stands majestically. The tower has an octagonal shape and rises to a height of 38.8 meters. The balustrade around the base of the tower features exquisite white marble reliefs that are awe-inspiring in their craftsmanship. Ascending the tower, one’s mood becomes instantly refreshed, and the mind wanders freely. Overlooking the world, a myriad of scenes unfold beneath, painting a picture of peace and prosperity that evokes a sense of nostalgia and contemplation. Strolling through the pavilions and corridors of Pine Mountain, one finds pleasure and contentment; wandering along the winding paths in the forest, the heart finds tranquility and ease. The enchanting scenery of the park attracts countless visitors, especially during holidays when the park is filled with thousands of people, laughter, and joy. The park is open year-round and all day, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening conditions.
