Lianhua Chi Park is located in Fengtai District, to the east of West Third Ring Road, and northeast of Liuliqiao. It is at the intersection of Xuanwu, Fengtai, and Haidian districts, close to Beijing West Railway Station, and is considered a high-level ancient site park in Beijing. Known as the birthplace of Beijing, it is said that ‘Lianhua Chi existed before there was Beijing’, with a history of over 3000 years.
Restoration and construction began in 1998, and the first phase was completed in December 2000, marking the park’s opening to visitors. The newly built Lianhua Chi Park in the 1980s covers an area of 53.6 hectares and is a place that preserves its original scenery and water features. Operating hours are from April 1st to October 31st, 06:00 to 22:00; from November 1st to March 31st, 06:00 to 21:00.Additional information on preferential policies: 1.
