Lianhua Mountain Ancient Quarry is a national key cultural relics protection unit located in the eastern part of Panyu City, Guangdong Province, within the town of Lianhua Mountain. It is a quarry site with a history of two thousand years in the Lingnan region. The quarrying at Lianhua Mountain began in the early Western Han Dynasty and continued until the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. The stone materials for the tomb of the King of Nanyue during the Western Han Dynasty were mined from Lianhua Mountain.

The site is composed of more than 40 hills of various sizes, covering an area of over 300,000 square meters. The Lianhua Mountain Ancient Quarry was mined using the cutting method, with the average height of the quarrying faces being 25 meters, reaching up to 40 meters in some places, and extending 13 meters below the ground. The quarry still preserves ancient stone pillars, slabs, and a large amount of stone materials that were not transported away.

With its long history and large scale, the stone materials mined at Lianhua Mountain were distributed throughout various parts of Guangdong, making it highly valuable for tourism and research. The site is open to visitors from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM all year round.
