Lianhua Mountain Scenic Area is located in the evergreen Lianhua Mountain Range of Haifeng County, nestled between the ‘Lianfeng Diecui’ and ‘Yingping Feibao’ of the top eight scenic spots in Haifeng. Visitors who come here for hiking and climbing can see the layers of forests and endless rolling hills. In the blink of an eye, they feel as if they are in a fairyland on earth. Among them, the main peak of the Lianhua Mountain Range, with an altitude of 1336 meters, is a good place to climb high and enjoy the scenery.
The Lianhua Mountain Scenic Area is primarily centered around Jiming Temple, a temple with a long history dating back to 1633 AD. Due to five consecutive natural disasters in Haifeng, monk Yinzhen, who came to Lianhua Mountain for alms, built a temple on Lianhua Mountain to gather blessings for Haifeng. Now it has been nearly 400 years. When visitors come to Lianhua Mountain, they might as well buy some local Lianhua Mountain tea, brewed with Lianhua Mountain spring water, which is particularly refreshing. The park is open all year round from 08:30 to 21:00.
