Located in Haimen Town, Chaoyang County, Lianhua Peak is adjacent to Haimen Bay. From its elevated vantage point, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire South China Sea. It is said that Wen Tianxiang, upon visiting this place, saw rocks resembling a lotus flower bursting open, hence naming it ‘Lianhua Peak’.
With a long history, Lianhua Peak boasts a multitude of scenic spots due to its geographical location and geological structure. These include the Tomb of Ten Thousand, Zhongnan Stone, Loyal and Virtuous Temple, Ancient Battery, Strange Spring Well, and the Wife-Watching Stone, among others. Additionally, there are countless inscriptions and stone carvings left by famous figures.
The long coastline at the foot of Lianhua Peak features clear waters and white sands. Tourists who visit in the summer can enjoy playing in the waves and experiencing a unique atmosphere. During the appropriate seasons, they can also appreciate the majestic and grand scenery of Lianhua Peak, such as the spring mist and other eight scenic views, all of which are breathtaking in their splendor.
Opening Hours: The scenic area is open all year round from 07:30 to 21:30.
