Lianhua Peak Scenic Area, located in Haimen Town, Chaoyang County, is adjacent to Haimen Bay. From the peak, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire South China Sea. It is said that Wen Tianxiang, upon seeing the stones on the mountain resembling a lotus blossoming, named it ‘Lianhua Peak’. With a long history, Lianhua Peak boasts a variety of landscapes due to its geographical location and geological structure, including the Mass Grave, Zhongnan Stone, Loyal and Virtuous Temple, Ancient Battery, Strange Spring Well, and the Wife-Watching Stone, along with numerous inscriptions and stone carvings by celebrities.
At the foot of Lianhua Peak, the long coastline features clear water and white sand. Visitors who come here in summer to play in the waves will have a unique experience. In the right season, one can also appreciate the magnificent and grand sea views of Lianhua Peak, such as the spring fog and other eight scenic views, all of which are breathtakingly beautiful.
The scenic area is open all year round from 07:30 to 21:30. Children under 1.2 meters (not including) enter for free.
