The library has six floors above ground and two floors underground. The overall architectural style is the Jia Geng architectural style, and it has a very rich collection of books.
The library is divided into several areas: the children’s reading area, the new reading experience center, the literature and newspaper reading area, the social science and natural science reading area, the ancient books and special literature reading area, the office area and the training area.

Opening hours: It is open from 08:30 – 20:30 from Monday to Thursday, Saturday to Sunday throughout the year; on Friday throughout the year, it is open from 08:30 – 12:00. During the New Year’s Day holiday in 2025 (January 1st), the Ancient Books and Documents Hall is open from 08:30 – 12:00 and 13:30 – 17:00. The self-service library is open from 7:00 – 24:00. The opening hours of different areas in the library are different. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on the day.
