The Liling Ceramic Museum is located in the Ceramic Valley on Ceramic Valley Avenue in Liling City. It is a popular science education base in Hunan Province and a youth education base in Hunan Province. Opened in 2015 and renovated in 2021, it has a building area of 16,598 square meters. A total of 2,881 pieces (sets) of precious cultural relics such as ceramics, bronzes, silverware, and calligraphy and painting works are on display, supplemented by specimens, texts, pictures, models, etc. Multimedia means such as projectors, touch screens, and video playback are used to display cultural relics and their cultural connotations in an all-round way. Hall No. 1 mainly shows the glorious history of Liling ceramic art before the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Hall No. 2 mainly expounds on the development path of Liling underglaze multicolored and modern industrial ceramics after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The Jiang Jin Art Museum showcases the profound attainments and extraordinary achievements of Liling modern artist Jiang Jin in fine arts and calligraphy.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 09:00 – 12:00; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year; Open from 13:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year.
