2. Behind the ancient forest is the Yinggeling Scenic Area of Limu Mountain. However, ordinary people can only stroll around the edge of the forest. Because Yinggeling has not been fully developed. If you want to cross the ancient forest, it will take at least two days.

3. Tianhe Scenic Area, Diaodengling Scenic Area and Limushi Scenic Area are the places that tourists can currently reach. It will take at least two days to visit all these three scenic areas. One day is used to climb the main peak of Limu Mountain, and another day can be arranged to see the Diaodengling Waterfall and visit the Limu Temple. Walking about 6 kilometers south along the forest management office can reach the Diaodengling Waterfall. The road to the waterfall is almost all downhill and fairly easy to walk. During the wet season, the Diaodengling Waterfall has a drop of several hundred meters. Because tourists are standing at the bottom of the waterfall and looking up, even during the dry season, the waterfall looks very spectacular.

There is a Limu Temple on Limu Mountain. Inside the temple, there is a statue of the goddess Limu. During the “March 3rd” festival every year, Li people from all over Hainan come to worship Limu on Limu Mountain. This annual deep mountain gathering makes Limu Mountain even more unique.

The origin of “Limu Mountain”: Legend has it that the seven fairies in the sky once came to this mountain for sightseeing. Among them, the peach blossom fairy was infatuated with the beauty and richness of this mountain and thought it could spread human beings. So she turned into a golden south snake and laid an egg. Later, it was cut open by the god of thunder and a girl jumped out. She is known as Limu, and since then, the Li people were born. According to ancient astrologers and geologists, one of the twenty-eight constellations in the sky, the female constellation corresponds to Limu Mountain. Therefore, it was anciently called “Liwu Mountain”.
