Linyuan, the official residence of Lin Sen during the Anti-Japanese War, is located on Shuanghe Street in Geleshan, with the Chengdu-Chongqing Highway passing by, 25 kilometers away from the city center. The residence was completed in 1939, and Lin moved into this villa until 1943. It is open to the public inside the Chongqing Communication College of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (a military academy), but visitors are not allowed to enter the campus for tours.
