Lingfeng Plum Blossom Exploration

Lingfeng Plum Blossom Exploration is located at the foot of Lingfeng Mountain on the west side of West Lake, within the Hangzhou Botanical Garden. During the Kaiyun years of the Later Jin Dynasty, Lingfeng Temple was built on Lingfeng Mountain. Over the generations, a large area of plum blossoms was planted around the temple. Every plum blossom season, many people came to admire the blossoms, making it a famous scenery spot by West Lake. Later, the temple was destroyed, and the plum blossoms also perished. The plum blossoms seen today are from the spring of 1988 when the Hangzhou Botanical Garden newly introduced more than 5,000 plum trees, restoring this classical beauty. Every season when the plum blossoms bloom, the area is covered in a beautiful pink hue, making it an excellent place for flower viewing and photography. The opening time varies each year according to the blooming cycle, and the specific business status is subject to the actual opening conditions on the day.
