Lingfeng is the east gate of Yandang Mountain and the essence of Yandang Mountain. It is collectively known as the ‘Three Wonders of Yandang’ together with Lingyan and Dalongqiu. The scenic area is mainly characterized by strange peaks and unique caves. Among them, the night view of Lingfeng formed by many peaks such as Hezhang Peak, Shuangsun Peak, and Rhinoceros Peak is outstanding. Entering the scenic area, you can see the guest-receiving monk who resembles a person greeting guests with clasped hands. Walking up along Mingyu Creek, on both sides of the mountain, there are dangerous peaks piled up in disorder, and the brook is gurgling. When night falls, various peaks cut out beautiful silhouettes. ‘Eagle folding wings’, ‘Rhinoceros looking at the moon’, ‘Couple Peak’, ‘Lovesick Woman’…all appear vividly, with both form and spirit, making people’s minds filled with thoughts. In the scenic area, Guanyin Cave is known as the largest cave in Yandang Mountain. The Taoist Beidou Cave makes many green peaks and blue cliffs around Lingfeng surrounded and intertwined, creating a dreamlike wonderland. Other caves with different shapes, such as Yunwu Cave, Toutian Cave, Hanzhu Cave, Yinhu Cave, Luohan Cave, and Liangfeng Cave, have different shapes and are all connected. Each has its own strange landscapes. Behind the caves, there are also Dongyao Terrace and Xiyao Terrace, from which you can view the panoramic view of Lingfeng. There are also more than 130 scenic spots of various sizes, such as Shimentan, Xiangyanmen, Guohe Three Scenes, Chaoyangzhang, and Bixiaofeng. From November, December, and January, the end time of the daytime scenery is 16:30, and the night scenery opening time is 18:00. From October, February, March, and April, the end time of the daytime scenery is 17:00, and the night scenery opening time is 18:40. From May, June, July, August, and September, the end time of the daytime scenery is 18:00, and the night scenery opening time is 19:20.
