Lingnan Normal University, located in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, is a regular undergraduate institution. It is situated in the beautiful port city at the southernmost part of mainland China.
The university’s history can be traced back to the Leiyang Academy, established in 1636. It began offering teacher education in 1904, was renamed Leizhou Normal College in 1978, and was upgraded to Zhanjiang Normal College in 1991.
